About Srini

Srini Kandala serves as the Head of AI, Technology and Online Business at Sears/Kmart (Transformco). He is also the Chairman of Sears India. Sears Deep Learning Center (SDLC), which he founded and leads globally, develops retail and Appliance repair specific products based on convolutional neural networks, generative adversarial networks, and deep reinforcement learning, using the vast historical datasets at Sears/Kmart. Prior to joining Sears, he held positions at Amazon as Head of Amazon Marketplace WebStores and Head of Amazon Payments.

At Transformco, he has spearheaded business transformation using technology and analytics across Online, Home Services, and other business units. Over the past decade, he has helped build business partnerships with various large enterprises and startups. He frequently speaks at Universities such as CMU and Northwestern University and Artificial Intelligence (AI) conferences such as The AI Summit New York and Retail Robotics AI Conference. He has also served on the board of Northwestern University’s Retail Advisory Council.
